Factors Influencing Engagement in Hybrid Virtual and Augmented Reality

Hybridity in immersive technologies has not been studied for factors that are likely to influence engagement. An noticeable factor is the spatial enclosure defines where users meet. This involves a mutual object of interest, contents may generate around object, and proximity between users. study examines these factors, namely how interactivity, user-generated (UGC) avatar We designed Hybrid Virtual Augmented Reality (HVAR) environment supports paired experience cultural heritage both (VR) (AR). A user was conducted with 60 participants, providing assessments engagement presence via questionnaires, together mobile electroencephalogram (mEEG) activity data measures VR real-time. Our findings provide insights into can occur HVAR environments future hybrid reality multi-device connectivity.
